A fractal is a pattern based on mathematics where the repeat occurs infinitely. It's a really interesting field of geometry that was started in the 1970's. Fractals occur naturally all over our world, and there's some fabulous stuff on the internet about them, including fractal generators which can be really cool to watch.

This pattern uses 65 different floss colors. Right there, I would consider it a challenge. The positive thing is that it is an Artecy pattern so the symbols should be easy to distinguish. Also, it is all full stitches (no 1/2 or 14s). It will be beautiful. Way beyond my patience level.

Thanks for the background. It is a beautiful pattern. Love the fractals. But I am with Nancye, so many colors seems challenging.
