Troy - callculator
Good morning Troy - I saw your answer to jenorma2 about putting the calculator on the pattern pages but for the life of me I can't find it. I would prefer it be with the fabric pages so I don't have to keep switching back and forth. I do love the new format of this website and congratulate you for all the very hard work that you all put into it. Thanks so much.

I am also looking to see the calculator, but I too can't find it. Maybe it is time for another coffee.

Oh, by the way love the new setup.

Take care and bye for now

What I'd really like is to go back to the way things were. New isn't always better. I don't know how many are saying that they like this new setup better because they are pleasers and how many actually like it. I'm to the point where I feel like finding a new hobby. Our local shop is only so-so, they whole set up here is getting too time consuming to navigate....... You get the drift. Sometimes it's nice to please the customers instead of the the business.

Hello Everyone,

Troy here. I believe I have the fabric calculator now displaying in all the needed areas. I just missed that when I published the new site but I wasnt displaying it in the correct places. It now is available on any pattern page, fabric page, and also on the main fabric page. I am sorry for not having that right sooner.

If anyone has trouble with it, please feel free to let me know.

Sincerely,
Troy

Sorry, Troy, This is going to be classified under "griping if hung with a new rope".

The linen in the fabric calculator only calculates "over 2" and only allows for 2" extra...there's a lot of stuff with "over 1" ... ok, I'm not the only person in the world and not everybody wants 3" added to all sides...I'll be quiet...You guys wish. :)

Hello VCESS,

The fabric calculator assumes you will be stitching "over 2" if the fabric count is over 18.
The smaller linens are calculated over 1.

Huh? Too complicated for me...all I know is that if you cannot adjust the "over 1 or 2" on linens/evenweaves you're screwed. "Most" is like "one size fits all"...No, it doesn't...at least it never has for me. :) But that's OK! I'm tough! And a good sport! :)

Thank you, Troy! Forgive my senior monument! :)
