You could make it on 14ct. Aida cloth in either light blue or light grey. The size of the pattern is 240 stitches x 144 stitches which is 17" x 10.25" on 14ct. Aida. If you change to a larger size of cloth you would not have enough floss in the kit to do it. You can go to Cyberstitchers.com to get a floss conversion chart from Dimension kit floss to DMC floss. This way you can use you stash of DMC to make up for the extra floss that you need. Don't forget to add 3 inches to a side to find out how large a piece of cloth you need. Hope this helps a little.

I love Lugana stitched over 2 threads. Aida is a little too stiff for me and irritates my skin. I've "graduated" to linen and specialty threads but my favorite remains Lugana and DMC floss. Use a larger thread count, it will still look beautiful. Other than that you could purchase a light with magnifying glass to help you see better.
