Social Media
I've been trying to sort out my social media preferences. I really like Instagram. I've been watching a lot of flosstube on YouTube, but I'm beginning to lose interest in it. I don't think I like Facebook much. I don't like the way it rearranges the posts. I always liked this chat, though.

I'm going to start this Scarlet Quince chart as soon as my supplies arrive. I tried a different Mucha a couple years ago and it made me miserable, but I watched some YouTube videos to learn some new techniques that I think will be very useful. I'm going to try diagonal parking. I am so excited about this next project, I can hardly concentrate on the current one.

Hi jsimonpurple! Was wondering what you'd been doing!
One of the stitchers thought you were doing another craft ie. Crocheting, since you haven't been on the ECS lately.
It will be interesting on your thoughts of diagonal stitching.
The "Scarlett Quince" always has beautiful patterns. Your SQ project looks wonderfully challenging! :)

Very pretty and unusual. I know where you are coming from - when you see new patterns and want start them straight away and loose interest on the one you are currently doing. I have just received some new patterns from ECS and want to start both of them NOW!!! But no I must complete the ones I am doing now. At least that is what I keep saying to myself.

Oh I've been very obsessively cross-stitching lately! I just partially finished my Peace Angel, without metallics and beads. I don't know who sees what, if anyone here follows me on Instagram, they will have seen everything already.

I just got floss for the first section of this chart, 47 skeins to sort and cut and wind. Hopefully I will have my easy count fabric by the end of the week!

Yea, Easy Count! :) you've been missed Jason! :)

Thank you, vcess! Look what I just got!

Ooooooo! What wonderful colors! I was out of commission for over two months with a broken wrist/arm. No stitching. Now I am out of the surgery, FIVE casts and the splint-support doo-hickey. I am slower than molasses in January, but I am sorting things to sell to raise some vacation funds. We haven't had one in many years, but I am determined.

So, missed you! What are all these cool colors for? I have a few big projects kitted up, but feel like I want to finish some UFOs and WIPs before that. Glad to hear from you!

Oh no, Su! I'm so sorry about your wrist! All these colors are for the pictured design. There are over 100 colors used, but most are blended, so not over 100 skeins of floss.

Uh-oh...it's what I get for thinking! You've been missed SIMON! My only excuse is that I'm old, I only had a moment, and wanted to say HI...Jason popped in quicker than Simon. :)

I love the period pieces! The detail is exquisite. I'm not a glad hand at blending, though. I railroad practically everything, but even loading up lots of extra needles doesn't help my blended threads...s o o o s l o w...

That's ok, vcess, my first name is actually Jacob, lol. But please call me Simon!

I give up, Simon! :) Hi, whoever you are! :) Is there a vitamin to revitalize my IQ...I USED to be bright... Please accept my sincerest apologies...I know who you are, evidently I don't know your name. You're a stitch-buddy just the same! Be well, Kid! :)
