Yay!! Sometimes I have those too - at times it's beyond my control (i.e., too busy), and other times it's just a lack of motivation for one reason or another. Happy stitching!

Thanks! I went back to a project that I'm having to carry over my stitching to the 2nd row of pattern pages below
The top row to avoid the dreaded "ridge lines".

RIDGE LINES...OH MY! ☺

RIDGE LINES.....enough to drive you bonkers!

(To the song, "They're coming to taking me away")

Ridge lines!
They're coming to take me away! Ha! Ha!
They're coming to take me away! Hee! Hee!
To the funny farm,
Where life is beautiful Alll the time!
Hee, Hee! Ha, Ha! Hoo, Hoo!

The first thing I do with a multi page pattern is photocopy it all and cut and tape it into one huge pattern. I just fold it to show the area I'm stitching. I don't have to worry about page edges.

I agree Simon that is the best way to do it. I should at least do your cut-and tape system for the top 3 rows; probably would save me time rather than flipping back and forth through the pages.
Did you get the rest of your floss yet to start your new project? It's a gorgeous pattern. I can't believe how fast you stitch these patterns out!!! I am slow as the molasses in January!
How is the weather in your area? I've heard some places are flooding and other places are so dry that fires are burning thosands of acres. It just began raining here in the northwestern part of Lake Erie. We could use the rain and hoping it breaks the humidity!

It's monsoon season here, hot and humid but we've had a lot of rain. I don't mind the heat too much. I love it out here.

We go to town on Saturdays, and I want able to justify making a separate trip on Thursday, so tomorrow it is! I'm really looking forward to really getting started.

Don't you just love that feeling when getting ready to begin a new cross stitch project? It's like a combination of 'excited anticipation' and 'warm-and-fuzzy' delight at working with the different color flosses and seeing the pattern come-to-life on the fabric.
Your weather sounds pleasant (except for the humid) where you are. Unfortunately, the past mild winter in Ohio has led to an explosion of gnats, mosquitoes, may-flies, ticks and other pests to flourish this year. The docs-in-a-box clinics are having to treat a lot of people with bites this year!
DH and I had family members, including their dog, visit us for a week a few weeks ago and they informed us the dog has a problem with fleas later in the evening of their first day here. I couldn't believe they didn't even bother getting the dog treated with a simple 3-minute treatment at the vets before they came! I ended up having to redo all the sheets, reclean the house, spray, etc. So much for family members who are inconsiderate and act like they were brought up in a barn. If there's a next time, I will inform them that they should leave the dog home if it has fleas and we aren't going to pick up after them ( the family, not the dog). If they decide not to visit, oh well....
I stitch to save my sanity at times.....

It's coming Jaj, we got the wind today for a long time before it began to rain. I believe you are located east of where we are.
