Aahhhh! The humidity is back!!!!!

Definitely here in Florida too! I'm taking the opportunity to stay inside in the a/c and stitch. Makes me happy! 😉

Here too, on Cleveland's west side...I had PT at 10:00 this morning, walked out at 11:00, and it hit me, right in the face. Went home, closed all the windows, and turned the air on. It was nice while it lasted.

Still cool here but we are getting more rain! Ugh, it has rained pretty much every day to every other day in July here in PA! Sick of the rain! Finally, though it cooled off from the seven day heat wave we had!
Happy Stitching!

I'll trade you some of our humidity if you'll trade a day of rain. (My flowers need the water!) Deal??? :)
sure 8511: I can just imagine what the humidity and temps are like in downtown Columbus and Downtown Cleveland; the buildings block any breeze off of Lake Erie and "the projects" in Cleveland, I know the people are frying! When it
Used to get this hot and humid, the fire departments used to open up the hydrants so the children could get some relief and play in the water....
Saintsgal: Feel like I'm in Florida with this humidity.
I'm two hours north of Columbus and even when the breeze blows, it blows hot!
Jaj: don't you just hate that when you get hit in the face with the humidity when you leave the air-conditioning?
Deidre: Hi! How are things going with you?

Yes humidity can be a real killer. We get it over here and you don't feel like doing anything.

My morning glory seeds I planted earlier this year are stunted this year... maybe they are suffering from heat exhaustion?
How goes it deidre?

i have you all beat. Im in louisiana. horrible hot and humid. Over 100 for sure. My son- who i went to see in El paso last week- has it bad also. was 104 when i saw him. But in El Paso its a dry heat!!! LOL ( they say that but it was still frikkin hot to me!!!!!) I still think louisiana heat is worse than the desert heat. SO i will gladly stay inside with my a/c and fans. I hate summer and should not live in this state honestly. I need to get up north sometime in the future. If i wanted to live in "H double- hockey- sticks" id be a sinner. Instead im in louisiana which i know is HOT as H#&$ here.

LOL!
Cindy- with it that hot down by you, you better drink plenty of water or you're going to shrivel up like a piece of over-cooked bacon!!!
I lived in Southern California for four years when I was much, much, much (add 2 more muches) younger, and it was a Dry heat- hot but no humidity. I would walk barefoot on the asphalt street and see the shimmering waves of heat rising up off the asphalt.
How could I walk barefoot on hot asphalt when it was that hot?
I didn't say the bottom of my feet were very pretty; I had enough callous on the bottom of them to flatten out hamburger patties on a lit grill....

Loved Bossier City...humidity and all...lived there for 9months...can't remember the street, but it was built in a pecan grove and the elementary school was right behind us. Best neighbors EVER...taught this city gal much about true hospitality...the flowers were the most gorgeous, they were so easy to grow, they were practically wild--The only drawback...BUGS!!! Huge! CREEPY, CRAWLY, MONSTER-TYPE BUGS...BILLIONS AND BILLIONS, NIGHTMAR-ISH...YES, I'M A HUGE, NIGHTMAR-ISH BABY! 😕😢😰😮
