Ordering a specific size of fabric
I am needing a specific size of 14 count Aida cloth, but I didn't see it listed........so, how do I order it?
I'm needing a piece of 14 ct. white Aida measuring 18" X 18". How much would it cost?

TIA,
Marlene

Hi Marlene- All of the fabric comes in specified sizes. Meaning that you will come close to the size you want, but will have to order the closest option in inches just over what you want and cut it down yourself. If the 18x18 inches is the total you need including the usual extra 3 inches on each side for framing, your closest choice would be the Charles Craft White that measures 20x24 inches that comes in the see through rectangular box.

Hi Marlene,

Unfortunately, we only sell certain sized cuts of fabrics on our website so those sizes are what you will see listed. You will have to order the size closest to what you need and then cut it down :) Hope this helps!

Ok, so if the stitched area will be 14" x 14" would a piece of 15" x 18" work? Or do I need to go bigger?

No, 15x18 inches would be too small. If your stitched area is 14 inches square on 14 count, using a 15x18 fabric cut would only leave a 1/2 inch border on 2 sides and a 2 inch border on the other 2 sides, not the 3 inches all around that framers like to see. The next closest pre-packaged fabric cut would be the 20x24 inches that I formerly suggested and would allow for 3 inches plus on all 4 sides. If you want, you can cut the 24 inch side down 4 inches or just leave the excess fabric if it does not bother you and you're worried about cutting it wrong.
