bibs
I am looking for a toddler bib that has a circle for where the head goes through and is made of terry cloth. There is a band for you to cross stitch in. Do you know where I can order this?

I am working on the bib you describe Charles Craft www.charlescraft.com, Velour Pullover Bib, 100% cotton, Dimensions 11.75 x 19.5 inches, 14 count band across the front. I have gotten mine at Joann's when they have good coupons or Hobby Lobby. I did find them on clearance at Walmart. Depending where you look, the price can really vary, the coupons help.

The necks are just too small...put them on anything but a newborn and you risk popping their little eyes out! :) If you get a style with a tie or Velcro neck, they don't outgrow them so quickly and your handiwork is both admired and useful for a much greater period of time! Just a thought... :)

Vcess, the old ones were really tight, I agree. I had to clip the neck to get them on my son when he was a baby (30+ years ago). However these new "toddler" bibs have a good size neck opening. I couldn't use the newer ones on my grandson til he was over a year old. He is now 2 and it is still on the large size.

Xstitcher,
My DD and I were just discussing this! I'm glad they made improvements, however, she made some for her best friend's babies and the mama was laughing about how the DD probably spent more time stitching than her "big-headed babies" took outgrowing them. :) The DD bought Velcro for the last 3 beautiful, big-headed babies. :) They were all born half-grown, I gotta' admit. :) But gorgeous! :)
