A Trip to Lock Haven University
Tomorrow my youngest daughter, Dani, hubby and I are venturing to Lock Haven University for their open house on Saturday. It is one of the colleges my daughter has on her short list of schools she would like to attend next fall. Looking forward to seeing the campus. It sits on the Susquehanna River. Shame it is supposed to rain all day but we will just have to put on our rain boots and jump in the puddles (embarrass my daughter a little hah lol).

In what state is Lock Haven? That sounds odd, but I believe that it is grammatically correct. Also, I told my teenage daughters, that any embarrassment they felt was payback for temper tantrums at the grocery store, etc.

Uhhh......lovetoxstich? What did you say?

Take your umbrellas, rain boots and raincoats then quietly whisper to your hubby during one of your walks on the campus to pretend he’s Gene Kelly and do a tap dancing routine with the rain puddles while singing, “Singing in the Rain.” Hey, it’s a memory she won’t forget!
Have a safe and fun trip!☔️

luvtocrossstitch,
Lock Haven is in Pennsylvania. The university sith rights along the Susquehanna River. Not too much around the area pretty isolated. They do have say they have a quaint little town. It is a three hour trip from our house and that's the farthest away from home that she wants to go. We will also be looking at East Stroudsburg in PA also but it's about half the distance from our house. East Stroudsburg is also only about 20 minutes from where my parents live in the Pocono Mountains, so she can always visit with them also. We will see what color smoke comes out the chimney in the next few months.
