Lap stand question
I really like the way it looks. If I'm sitting on the sofa will the center part of the stand tilt inward so I can sit back?

My floor stand has a similar base, top part is different though, as it was made for a scroll frame , & just clamps down in the center on the top bar. ( I use my Q-snaps frames in it now). The big plastic knobs on the base with loosen, & you can tilt it. This one looks like it would be able to tilt at two spots. Good luck, & happy stitching!!

Just to be sure before purchasing, I would write to the manufacturer, F.A. Edmunds at faedmunds.com
Or go the that page and see if they list a phone number for their customer service.

Thank you both so much. I will contact them to be sure and for your opinion. I've only done small projects and this is my first large one. Wish me luck!

I could be wrong, but this stand, at one time, would take nothing larger than 25" or 27", or so. You might want to check the widest frame it will take when checking the arc... :) Don't know how wide your project is, but my first cover-all took a 30"-wide scroll frame. :)

I ordered that gauge to see. I've only done the kits and I'm horrible at math. Is the pattern in cm or inches? I'm going to have my husband look at it before I buy anything. In the site it gave several different sizes and then I got this huge piece of material! I'll be working on this for years.
