I have had this project on my To Do list for decades. The pattern came from an old "Cross Stitch and Country Crafts" magazine. I changed the berries from a burnt orange to red to add depth and a more modern look. Luckily, ECS has all the DMC floss colors - including those not carried by my local, small-town craft store. Hope to finish before the end of the year!

Love those autumn colors. It is beautiful! Looks like you don’t have much stitching to do to complete it. What type of fabric is it? You know me, I’m Always curious about the different types of fabrics other stitchers use on their projects.

Hi Bermuda!
The fabric is linen, which adds a lot to the rustic look of the picture.
The berries, wheat, leaves, and ribbons will make an entire wreath around the lettering when the project is finished. I've done more work on it since I took this picture - I am at about the half-way mark at the moment.

Hi! 😃
Love the look the linen gives to the cross stitch and vice versa!
Well it is gorgeous. Do you have plans on hanging in any specific room when completed?
