Making a birth announcement for a new granddaughter in April. Hopefully will have it done shortly after birth. Been working on it for a couple of weeks. I still have a blanket to knit.

Congratulations Grandma! April is springtime and I believe the gemstone is the Diamond. Did the Doctor give a specific date in April? I tried knitting and it just did NOT work out! 🤪 I believe it is an elephant is it not? (It’s my cataracts, not your stitching). 🤓

They are told April Fools day. Yes, it is an elephant, or any way the head so far.

This is soooo cute! BTW, my nephew was born on April 1st, and as his smart-aleck aunt I had to tease him about his gifts - he survived well since he is now well into his thirties! I can't wait until he and his wife start a family (they are trying) so I can do some of these items as well. I like to knit also - will love to see your finished projects!
