Definitely not for a beginner. Good for someone who has already done five or six smallish projects. I consider it INTERMEDIATE. It is a little on the large size. You will be stitching every single hole. There is lots of shading and you will be switching flosses frequently. There are a lot of pages to this pattern -- don't think about the number of pages -- look at the number of stitches. Artecy patterns have very clear symbols; the pages have very clear symbols. Take your time. If you have a lot of patience you will be fine. You will be happy with the quality of the pattern.

BE SURE TO MAKE AT LEAST ONE COPY OF THE PATTERN THAT Y OU CAN MARK UP AS YOU STITCH. Put the original in a safe place for future reference or in case you need to make another copy.

HAPPY STITCHING

I just finished this one but I used material that looked like a late fall early winter sky for the background so didn't have to stitch the background. There's a lot of "confetti" in the branch but not so much in the bird itself. Arrows on the pattern direct you to the centre starting point so you don't need to fill in the background if you choose not to. Still I agree with Bermuda that it's likely not a "beginners" pattern.

I am a believer of giving credit where credit is do, in this case Nancye. No worries. Iā€™m glad you enjoy my stories, they are based on situations either DH and myself get into together or situations I get myself into.. šŸ˜ƒ
