My “next” project arrived today.
So naturally my husband was home, and he got the mail.
Him: You got a package.
Me: Oh, okay.
Him: What is it?
Me: Just a pattern, and some floss, and the fabric.
Him: How much did this one cost?
Me: $37.00.
Him: That’s all? Why so cheap?
Gotta love him.

I think he was still in shock, after seeing new car prices at the car show today!

You have gotta love him for that!!! He respects your need for a ‘stash’.
Did you get much stitching done at the car show?

I left my stitching at home, and pretended to be interested, especially when we came to pickup trucks!

Wow! Wow! That is going to be a beautiful piece of art. If my husband had such a nice response, I would have thought (I should have gotten that other pattern too). I know that is a greedy thought, but I still would have.

I only get, "You have about 5 or 6 packages in the mail." Not really, dear. Three are magazines, not cross stitch. One is a letter from Uganda from the girl we sponsor. One is a package from ECS. One is my alumni bulletin. The rest are in your old brain. He hates that I get mail and he doesn't....except those with little windows so you can see how much they care.
