Beats me! I think the Fiddler's is a rougher texture, but it has been some time since I read about it. Maybe you could try the chit chat search feature? ☺

Aida has evenly spaced threads, Fiddlers is irregular but not crazy. Click on fabrics and then on left you can click fiddler and get description. Don't be sorry for the questions, I've learned something from one of the answers given to you! :)

For some reason, I put in a great reply but somehow the computer erased it. Here goes, on their website under fabrics it shows most of the fabrics and what they are used for. I like fiddler's cloth because as their web says it is used for a rustic look. In addition, I love aida because of all the colors that are available. I just found out how many colors aida comes in because I wanted to order something different. I stitch on white aida, but I am not crazy about white anything. My other response was more informative and it ticks me off that it went to response heaven. By the way, I love questions because I learn things from other stitchers so don't apologize for asking one. Enjoy stitching and check out that fabric page. It is really interesting. Pam
