Over-dyed floss
Hi, exactly what does "over-dyed" mean??? Is the "over-dyed" floss color deeper, sharper and/or more vibrant????

Thank you for your help.

Overdyed thread has a base color then another color dyed over it. I looked it up on the net and you know the net never lies-yuk yuk.

Pam one of my pet peeves is people who take the net like gospel. Especially on medical things. The net said it was what I have so that must be what I have! lol Some people don't live in the real world.

The over dyed threads generally contain several shades of the same colour or sometimes mixes of colours so the colour changes as you stitch. There are lots of good videos on Floss Tube that show how to work with these threads and the different effects you can achieve with them.

I was making a joke about the net hoping that others would realize it was actually a joke even though I got it on the net. It was a joke.

Of course we laugh! That's just something you take for granted! 😊 Just imagine a little fat gal doing a Santa impersonation in the next chair. 😆
