It happens when someone uses the "search bar" on the Chat page looking for a previous discussion. For example -- type in "Thea Gouvernor" Chats with "Thea Gouvernour" in the Subject line will show up even if they are they or four years old.

MissC gets bored with us and trolls through old posts that were neglected or nobody responded to--for whatever reason. Nevermind that they either posted again or gave up and went away. So, we waste time and effort. Usually, I check dates, but sometimes my brain goes for a trip. Oh, well, it keeps me out of disreputable places...temporarily. 😊

I am glad that you explained those messages. I still think it is funny that I felt sorry that no one had answered them and felt like my civic duty to reach out. Then , I think, it was VCESS that let me know that those were olddddddddddd posts. I felt really embarrassed but the good thing is we can't see each others red faces. Mine was red for sure.

Why on earth would you be embarrassed about answering someone's questions???!!! I have many reasons to be red-faced, but that certainly isn't one of them! 😊. Most of us, at one time or another, have joined in one of her snipe hunts... Silliness prevails. 😊
