Instruction Sheet
Is this pattern printed in color on the instruction sheet? I find the black and white ones very hard to read. Also, how many sheets are there? Thank you

It is beautiful but waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay beyond my patience or skill. When I got my Artecy pattern words were running through my head that were not very nice. My hat is off (if I wore a hat) to anyone with that skill level or patience level. Sorry I could not help. pam

Artecy patterns are in black and white. They are very easy to read and the symbols are very easy on your eyes. Be sure to make a second copy and mark off the pattern on the 2nd copy as you move along. I love Artecy!

First of all -- you should not be concerned about the number of pages. Look at the number of stitches. The more pages; the fewer blocks of ten per page; the better the clarity of the symbols.

Second -- There are 61 different flosses in this pattern. IF the pattern was in color it would be next to impossible to distinguish the colors because there are many shades that are very close. I doubt if they could have that many colors on a printed pattern.

Make at least one working copy of your pattern. Put the original in a safe place. Work one block of ten by 10 stitches at a time. You can even enlarge each section as you stitch.

I am currently working on a piece that uses DMC 603, 604 and 605. They shades are quite similar. Doubt if I could follow that using a color pattern

Buy a good set of color pencils. You can color in the area you are working in. My eyes aren't great anymore and I have to get creative. It is a beautiful pattern. Good luck and enjoy.

I'm currently working on an artcey pattern, and a few more comments. The patterns are very easy to read, there are only whole x stitches, no backstitching, but lots and lots of color changes. This will be a challenging pattern, but oh so worth it. Good luck.
