Not so fast, my friend. Last I saw the Penguins are looking pretty spiffy. I have a Crosby jersey hanging in the front room where I continue to watch my Pens. I mean , come on, they have the toughest uniforms in hockey. And when I am watching and they score I jump up and before the announcer can get it out of his mouth I am yelling HE SCORES. Yes we shall see. I'm not allowed to watch the playoffs so I don't jinx them. And yes I do jinx teams. Go Jets Go (did I mention this already???)

Judy, I love all sports. When it is two teams (no matter what sport), I have to pick someone to root for. Usually, the team I root for loses. So I know all about being a jinx. I am also not a quiet fan. I yell at the refs (for what I call a bad call). I yell DEFENSE. But my Pirates, Steelers, and Pens are my heroes. Even when they don't win, they are my heroes. My son shuts the door when I am watching my teams. My cats hide. But my ever loving dog sits right with me. (She even has her very own Steeler jersey and Steeler bandana.

they are going crazy here in tennesse for they're preds. the other night on the local news someone threw a toy stuffed cat fish on the desk. and they are keeping it for a mascot. on game nite people come in the store wearing there preds jerseys. and asking if we have anymore the store is a hour and 45 min away from Nashville I have to tell them to try a closer store as all we have is the local schools stuff. did have the titians stuff but since they suck we had a clearance on all there stuff now just have some of the orange volennters stuff.

For the home Jets games they had street parties around the arena and yes they blocked the streets off to traffic and buses. Absolute nightmare. Anyway, last Friday they had 35,000 plus people downtown in white jerseys, sweaters, etc. watching the game on big screens. People at work wearing their jerseys for the Jets and for the Humboldt Saskatchewan players that were killed a few weeks ago. GO JETS GO signs everywhere. So to say that we're a HUGE hockey crazy city is an understatement. The Jets play Tennessee Friday so........GO JETS GO!!! LOL
