Well I've done it again!! Have just ordered two more patterns and one kit. The kit is a new release called "Christmas Pups Ornaments" and is gorgeous. The two patterns are "Dogs" and "Dogon Good Time" (I think). Some more for the stash. When will I ever learn.

I hear ya! I keep ordering patterns as well...I tell myself that I'm building my stash before I retire! Maybe I'm a bit delusional :) Mary

Marym, it won't stop just because you retire, believe me!

Well just tell the designers to stop creating such beautiful patterns/kits and we will stop buying them - as if that's going to happen!! Ah well I just say to him it could be worse - I could be buying another horse. Oh that's right there's two sales next week!!!!! Tee hee!

Nita is right. Retirement doesn’t stop the addiction. You just find a way of getting your cross stitching ‘fix’ in other ways on a fixed income

I believe I'm just as guilty! We went to Cheyenne for a trip to Menards for some farm parts. Well, as driver, I got to go (with hubby's blessing) to a needlework store! I only bought 1 pattern, but alot of threads for wips. And, he's looking forward to a return trip! Now, how's that for a reward for driving and hanging around Menards for 2 hours? Yippee!!!

Dam I can't go to the sales after all DH has just received his appointment for his CT scan and guess what it's on Friday - sale day. So there goes that idea.
