Hooping
Good Morning
I have a question about hooping.
My fabric is to soft to cross stitch and not use a hoop
Iā€™m concerned about hooping over my stitches and damaging them I see no way around it does anyone have any suggestions or tips
Thanks so much
Cindy

I use a hoop all of the time and never have had a problem with it damaging any stitches that I had to hoop over. I know I try to be very careful about having the fabric taut before I lock in the hoop so I don't have to "tug" the fabric when under the pressure of the hoop. Other than using a scroll bar set up, I don't think you can avoid having the hoop over your stitches. Good luck Cindy.

I always use hoops and they never damage the stitches i have already made. The hoop might affect projects with beads. That is why that is my last step.

I use the stretcher bars for fear of pulling or damaging the stitches I have already made. However, my mother is quite a stitcher and she uses a hoop for everything. Her work is beautiful. So, I think my fears are unnecessary. :)
