THIS IS A COUNTED CROSS STITCH. IT HAS THE INSTRUCTION, FLOSS, FABRIC, AND NEEDLE WHEN IT SAY IT IS A KIT THAT MEANS IT HAS EVERYTHING TO FINISH THIS PROJECT. THERE IS NO PRITED CROSS STITCH EXCEPT IN STEMPED ONES. FOR THE CROSS STITCH PROJECT YOU HAVE TO COUNT THE STITCHES AND CHOOSE THE CORRECT FLOSS FOR IT WITH THE MATCHING SYMBOLS. GOOD LUCK. WHAT YOU ARE ASKING IS NEEDLEPOINT KITS. if I WAS U I WOULD HAVE CHOOSE SOMETHING SMALL FOR CROSS STITCH.

thank you for that quick response and I have bought, in the past, larger PRINTED canvases with the photo printed on the material and I just choose the colour and sew...

Do you have preprinted products ?

I AM NOT WORKING THERE. I HAD NEVER HAD SEEN ANY CROSS STITCH IN REAL PRINTED ON MATERIL. WHAT YOU HAVE IS NEEDLEWORK. FOR THE PRIPRINTED GO ON CROSS STITCH PATTERN ON YOUR LEFT SIDE AND CHOOSE WHAT YOU LIKE.

There is a site called stitchery.com
They carry many stamped cross stitch items. If you enter just the words "stamped cross stitch" in an internet search, it will reappear with other sites as well. You can browse at each site and find what you like. One problem with stamped designs is that they seem unable to transfer a painting, a picture or a photograph into the stitches, so they don't have the detail that this design will have. I always recommend that folks just purchase a KIT that is not too pricey and just try the method of a graph chart. Sometimes, people find it to be fun. Others find it difficult. Personal choice!

YES THERE IS SO MANY SITES ON THE COMPUTER FOR CROSS STITCHING. I HAD LEARNED CROSS STITCHING FROM NUNS IN SCHOOLS. MY MOM HAD CHANGED SCHOOL FOR ME TO LEARN THAT ART
BUT I WISH SHE DIDNT.

You can get miniature Dimensions kits at Michaels & Joann's. Stamped cross stitch is usually on a broadcloth printed with washable ink. Their small charted kits usually have white 14- ct Aida, so the holes are big. And you can see if you can tolerate a chart. If you can't, needlepoint canvases are your best choice.

You can get some beginner stamped cross stitch kits on this website here. Just click on the link on the left that says Stamped Projects and you will see what is available. It is a great way to get started in cross stitch. The only patterns I have seen printed on the fabric or canvas are needlepoint projects. I have done some but I prefer counted cross stitch.

The thing to remember is to start a smaller project and work your way up so you don't get frustrated when stitching.

My very first cross stitch was a stamped one, I didn't like it! It looked like a crude paint by numbers! Since then I've only ever done COUNTED cross stitch as I prefer the details!

You could get a small beginner counted cross kit and see if you like it.
