Question
Can anyone tell me if this is completly stitched for the whole 12X12" or are there "x's" that are left blank? I am kind of in a hurry to complete the project and would like to meet my deadline.

This is a kit. Much of the Ivory Aida you see is left unstitched -- border, plaque for personalizing. You can, of course, supply some matching DMC floss and stitch it all in.

in response to the posted request for information on the jungle theme cross stitch, I have completed three of them they are absolutely beautiful, especially when framed. they do take a long time to complete. I worked virtually every evening on it for a couple hours a night and one takes 3-4 months to complete. If you have more time in your day to work on it you will likely get it done faster. If you have the time it is definitely worth it. I did two of them for 2 brothers born a year apart, and the 3rd one for a girl...for her's I changed up the colors of one animal to dark purple, lavender and pink (the monkey)...beautiful! good luck!

I stitched the Safari Birth record last year, this kit does take time to complete. It is beautiful when finished, I had mine, done for my grandson, professionally framed at Hobby Lobby. It now hangs in his room and matches his room decor. I did work on this project every night for 2 or 3 hours for 3 months, but I had not cross stitched for many years, a challenging project to tackle, being out of practice for so long, but I was very pleased and proud when finished.

I did this one twice. Loved it, it's adorable when finished. It took me two months to finish it. A lot of backstitching, but not hard. It's not a difficult pattern, just takes patience. Yes every square is stitched inside of the blue border, but it's not hard. Just don't run out of thread, b'c it's not DMC thread and when I did the second one, I ran out of thread and went and got more (lion's mane) and the DMC thread was slightly darker than the thread that came with it and it was very noticeable. Luckily, I didn't do much with the original thread and only had to pull out about 5 short rows.

Good Luck and you made a good choice.
