Ok. Just got my fabric yesterday. I have decided I'm not putting the mermaid in the competition this year. Too much pressure. I have two baby samplers to do (one by next month and I just started that one, it's the Sugar N Spice, easy and the other one is very large and is half way done, also an afghan and crochet baby booties for the first week of January), 2 more dragons before Christmas and a November Topaz Fairy (Marabilia) for my sister's birthday (which she'll probably get by Christmas). Whew! I'll need a break after that!
The Ornate Butterfly will still be shown in the competition though.

Good luck at the State Fair. Hope you win a ribbon. Sounds like you have been very busy stitching. I have done several this year too, but I also do quilting so I have not done near as many as you. Just finished 6 Snowman ornaments for Christmas gifts and now back working on my big John Wayne project. Did send for the gridding thread the other day so anxious to try it when it gets here.
