I can tell you that the stocking are mostly is the symbol of the holiday. But on the other hand U can do it if you find the pattern and transfer it yourself on the stocking that you can have or buy.

I looked on about a dozen different cross stitch websites and could find no Christmas stocking with a baseball theme. You could find a baseball cross stitch pattern and use waste canvas to stitch it on a pre-made stocking. Good luck.

SYagel, how hard is it to stitch on a premade item like a Christmas stocking? Always wondered how you get from backside to front, etc., except shirts, which are flat anyway. Saw a couple is wallets & purses I thought about & decided "Nah, too hard."

I have done waste canvas on a couple of sweatshirts and it is not hard. You just have to go slow and use a very sharp needle. What makes it take so long is you have to do the stitch and then keep reaching into the sweatshirt to get your needle. I haven't done any waste canvas just for that reason for a few years. If it was something I really wanted to do like a Christmas stocking I would do it though if I could not find what I was looking for in a kit.
