Well.....It's by Cody Country. They like "patriotic" themes. Personally, I wouldn't want to stitch such a sad memory.

Nor would I want it hanging in my house. Not very tasteful and sensitive in my opinion. Somewhat out of the realm of patriotism.

I have several Cody Country stitching projects that I love. This one I have to agree with the two other remarks. I would never do it either for my house or for a gift. I just think it is "tacky".

After today will not be on here for about 5 or 6 days. Going on vacation to Wrigley Field for baseball games, and Caesar's Casino. Texas Stitcher, jlhewes, and jclifford "hold down the fort". Be back next week.

Have a wonderful time, syagel. My cousin used to go to Wrigley field all the time. She lives in Waukegan, IL. Her friend passed some time ago and she no longer goes. It's amazing how we are all "connected" somehow through experiences, locations, etc.

That's a long time for you to be gone and leave us to our own devices here! I don't know where jclifford is. Hopefully, we'll have heard from SS by the time you return.

Again, have fun and be safe. We'll miss you!

You have a wonderful week. We'll talk to you when you return. :)

Maybe something better would be the picture of the firefighters on top of the rubble. Slightly less horrific. But I prefer stitching more kitschy stuff myself (like the QR code that says "Home Sweet Home" on your phone after you scan it) :)

I have one Cody Country pattern. They're not all patriotic.
