paper stitching
I would like to cross stitch Christmas ornaments (paper), how difficult is it to maintain the paper holes? I'm afraid I'd tear them and ruin the piece? Thank you for any info?

There was no problem cross-stitching this ornament on perforated paper. The paper is thick and possibly coated with plastic or wax. Enjoy the project!

Agree with Teresa. I have done several of these and there is no problem with the paper and they make beautiful ornaments. Enjoy!

just be careful when you cut it out that you don't clip a thread accidentally

I agree with those who mentioned above. I have been on a kick with them and probably made about 30 in the last year. The Santa sets I made as well as the creche ones , the paper wasn't coated or colored, but it was still quite sturdy as long as it doesn't get wet (or the dog doesn't decide it would be fun to chew up as happened with one, LOL). And the ones that look like ornaments, they are all coated/colored on one side and whatever they use makes the paper even sturdier. So don't worry about it..try one or two and see how you like them!
