Checking in with you all.....
Well, today is 1 week post op and things are going ok I guess! I'm an LPN and always worked in long term care.........so guess where I am????? Yep! I'm in a rehab facility!!! My worst fear came true!!

I'm here getting physical therapy. Today was my first session.....can I just say O U C H!!??!!??!!
I can walk, but cannot move right leg on my own yet. Have to sleep on my back, but that's ok.

I brought the Lavendar Rose to hospital to have something to do, I mean besides hurting!!

Happy Stitching every one!!

O U C H!!!! How long will you be in therapy? Hope they are giving you the good stuff!!!!! Although you probably won't give a fig for cross stitch! :) Physical therapy is always the worst part of recovery...learned to curse in 12 languages! multi-llingual therapist and he was a hoot....No, it wasn't knee replacement.... Wish you much, much better VERY, VERY soon!!!!!!

Keep up the rehab, Marlene! My shoulder is put off again. If I ever get to see the surgeon, it may be put on permanent hold. I'm used to the pain & not happy about surgery.

Thank you ladies! Yes I am working hard......well as hard as my knee will let me that is. PT wanted to do 40 minutes......I'm like can we make it for less time and more visits? So, we did 20 minutes to start with, and MAN am I glad I did!! Whew!! I'm STILL hurting from morning session!!

Yes I'm trying real hard to stay on top of the pain!! Every 3 hours I get 15miligrams of oxycodone.

lpnbarnes, I'd like to add my best wishes for a speedy recovery. PT sounds rough, hang in there you can do it.

Hope you heal well and soon! My shoulder has been delayed due to need for cardiology clearance. Ah well, perhaps you can do my current PT under the guise of doing yours! Prayers for you .
