Which one is easier to work with, blending filament or #4 very fine braid?

You usually use blending filament with 1 strand of floss. They can be tricky to keep together. However, #4 braid can be a little harder to form the cross stitches perfectly. Use what the pattern calls for, as they're not interchangeable.
