This butterfly stamped cross stitch has 6 blocks 18 x 18. Good luck.

Each package of quilt blocks contains 6 blocks. To make a twin size you need 3 packages, full you need 4 packages, and queen and king need 5 packages each to make the quilt.

Wow for that price I could have bought a new quilt cover.

How many would I need for a Baby blanket? or Crib Blanket?
by: Sherrid on 05/28/15
A crib blanket is 28 x 52 inches. To make a crib blanket you would need 2 packages of the 6 packs of quilt blocks. You would have it 2 - 18" blocks wide by 3 -18" blocks long. Hope this helps.

Miss sherry

Are U talking about making a crib blanket with the butterflies stamped cross stitch pack?
by: miss crossstitc on 05/28/15
Syagel, I think that 3 x 4 blocks would be nice.

Yes. I've never made a quilt before. For practice I bought the barnyard blocks and other blocks. Embroidered or cross stitched them and made a single 'quilt' page out of them and combined them in a book.

The Farmland blocks I added the words to "Old McDonald had a farm" and the animal sounds then used them as my very first attempt at quilting the back grounds.

They are full of mistakes, but my baby great-nieces are more impressed with the 'oink oink here' and the 'moo moo there' than my first attempts at quilting. And they make wonderful spit wipes and chew toys. lol

I saw the wonderful butterfly blocks and thought I would give a simple crib quilt or baby quilt a try. Thank you for the information.

I screwed up and forgot to mention putting pieces of colorful cotton fabric borders in between each row both horizontal and vertical. Also put some kind of backing on it so the baby does not get the threads caught in their toes.

Miss C I am not making the butterfly crib blanket. Just answering a question for another stitcher. All the crib blankets I have made are quilts. I use my quilting hobby to make them when I do.
