Not sure what you mean. DMC floss quality is the same where ever you purchase it. I have bought it from many different places including JoAnn Fabrics and it is always the same. I will not use any floss except DMC floss on my projects.

I know what you mean. My sister says their quilting fabric is worthless. However this is a brand name floss, so you're safe.

Jlhewes I know what your sister means. I will not buy fabric from JoAnn Fabrics for my quilting projects because the fabric is junk. I get my fabric at a Local Quilt Shop. I have to pay more for it, but it is worth the price for my quilts. Have a good weekend everyone.

I'm not impressed with JoAnn's - period. We have two in the area, one is a real junk store, I can't remember if I've been to the other one. The staff is rude, I would be too if I had to work in a place like that. My daughter dragged me in there for fabric to use on the Christmas stockings. It was a desperation purchase, we needed something. There is a nice fabric store about 30 miles from here. I have to check it out - Calico corners. We've talked about this on the chat before - having to use cheap fabric for projects that one spends months to stitch.
At one time it was a nice store until they decided to sell everything but the kitchen sink.
That's why I like to order from ECS. No aggravation, no getting ready, I can shop for whatever I need in a fraction of the time it takes to go to the store.
