i m doing cross stich asa hobby ,i have problem staating from begiining of my project.
I have a couple f crsstich projects to do,but just getting strted I have problem with.can I get sme pinters to strst frm the beginning.tim

Hi there
U have to fold the material like a napkin and you will find the middle of the fabric and start from there. U can also stitch the edge with a machine or by hand. U will find the middle of the pattern by a star or you will find an arrow there. Good luck and keep stitching

Some patterns start from the middle and some start from the top left corner. You need to find out which one your pattern is. What pattern are you doing? If you are a new cross stitcher your best bet is to start with one of the beginner kits sold here on ECS. They come with everything you need and very easy instructions for beginners. The worst thing you can do as a beginner is to get a pattern that is too hard for you and then you get frustrated and give up. Don't give up. Cross stitching is a great hobby. You just have to start out slowly.
