Faberge Eggs
Is this a pattern for all 6 in one picture or one egg at a time? Can you buy it as a complete kit?

Hi Eleanor,
I would contact Kristi here at ECS to clarify that you get all 6 egg designs. I found that the pattern(s?) are on a "leaflet". I'll stick my neck out (but not too far) because what I found for directions for this collection 2 stated.."EACH design...." which makes me think you get all six designs in one leaflet. But to be sure ask Kristi, she will be happy to help you out!

The stitch count given is 49w x 76h, which is only big enough for 1 egg. Looks like you get six patterns, which you can stitch all together or separately.

Pretty eggs. They have single egg patterns with only one egg that has the same dimensions and priced at $3.95. I'm guessing that you would receive six different patterns to be done either individually or all together. I think it might make a pretty table runner. However, I'm Jewish so wouldn't know for sure.

What, Nancye? You don't believe mamels like rabbits get busy in the Spring laying colorsd eggs? 0nly the highly trained French Hares can lay the Faberge style, of course. But millions of "tricycle motors" are already eager to find their Easter basket, stuffed with colored eggs, chocolate eggs, chocolate bunnies, yellow peeps, jelly beans of all colors, even black. And also small toys and some nice jingley coins. They' re dreaming about hiding the Basket & eating all goodies til sick.

jl, why did the French hares stop laying Faberge eggs? Was the pressure too great, did they run out of ideas or did the Russian Imperial Family have a patent? LOL

Rabbits are annoying creatures, we have several in the 'hood and they always eat the tender little leaves on my spring flowers. They also use the yards as delivery rooms and more than once have I had to remove dead young ones. That sets the tone for the entire day!!!!! Don't want anything that they lay!!!!! :)

Hello,

This pattern has all six eggs and they are on separate pages. You can stitch them separately or together as one piece. If you would like to have the floss and fabric to go a long with this pattern, the supplies for it are listed right underneath the picture of the pattern in the Supplies section. You can just check the boxes of the flosses that you need and the fabric is listed to the right of the floss list. Just add everything to your cart and checkout and we will get your items to you within the next few business days. I hope this helps! Thank you :)

SILLY ME -- I forgot the French Rabbit used to lay the Fabrege eggs. When they moved to Russia they got scrambled. And, I was always jealous of the other kids and their Easter baskets filled with chocolate and jelly beans. I LOVE the fabrege eggs pattern. I wished there was someone I liked enough to make something for.

I think the eggs and the maypole are just old European Rites of Spring. Pretty, colorful, fun to stitch! Grew up in Michigan & remember how nice it is to get out after months in the ranch style Thatch Hut with the family & animals.

Bought several nice Easter/Spring patterns at ECS, which may get stitched next year. They got demoted due to my need to stitch pictures of our new cats.
