A few minutes ago, I took some type to log on to cyberstitchers.com. I scrolled down to the Dimensions heading for the conversion of floss numbers to DMC. I remembered that somewhere around here I think I still have a Dimensions kit called "Chickadees & Lilacs" that someone gave me some years back. I do know that I was sure I wouldn't have enough thread in the lilac/purple family. (The only time previously that I contacted them for additional thread, they sent me a really small amount.) At that time I didn't have the DMC color chart folder. Now that I have this conversion to DMC information, I am going to see if I have this kit buried somewhere! I would love to finish it. It is a beautiful picture. So, you have done a good thing my friend.
