Ok. After much discussion here and "there" , much seeking & searching, I have finally com to a conclusion.
I AM BUYING THE EASY COUNT GUIDELINE!!!!!!
Now I've spent the last 24 hours seeking it locally to get it in my hot little hands like NOW to get this project started.
Nope! Gotta order it online! Tried Amazon (yes I know it's here), John was getting that and a magnetic board to make hiding it easier (remember it's a Christmas gift) but NNNOOOOOOOO!!! Can't do that!!! The mag board is an add-on! John got frustrated and called them. We cannot ORDER just the filament & mag board. We can ONLY get the mag board as an add-on and to get the add-on you HAVE to spend $25 or more!!!! WWHHHHHAAAAAAAAT? We cannot simply ORDER THOSE TWO ITEMS????? Nope. 😡😤
Can't get the filament locally. Can't order only the two items we want. So, I'm ordering the filament here and going to Joanns Fabrics to get the board!

I can fel your frustration regarding Amazon add ons.
As for the red filament, I think you will like it. I know someone suggested buying the pre-gridded Aida. But it is so limited in the color and count of cloth you can buy with it. Yes, the gridding by hand can be a pain, but worth it. My stitching is almost error free and easier to see between looking at the chart and then to your gridged material.

I take it from the title you have a sensitive nature. Take it as a hobby, voluntary, & a minor part of existance. You can reduce that to an "argh!" If you go for it, girl!

Lol! Thanks ladies! I finally ended up ordering from ECS, which is what I started to do DAYS AGO!! From now on, if I find it here, I BUY IT HERE!!
