IS the tin can included with chart or does the tin can sold separately? If the tin is separate what does it cost & where do purchase it?
Are instructions include with chart to put together stitched piece Around sides & on top? Are threads included with chart? There doesn't seem to be enough info. to understand this project.
Thanks

Hello,

This is a counted cross stitch pattern and not a manufactured kit, so the items such as the thread, fabric and tin do not come with it. Everything must be purchased separately for this design. However, the thread that is needed for this design is listed right underneath of it. So, if you choose, you can purchase the thread and the pattern at the same time and will have some items to get you started on this project. I am not sure what kind of tin pincushion the designer used for the model. Here is what is on the leaflet of this pattern:

Eastern Bluebird Tin Can Pincushion
Stitch Count: Side Panel: 148w 20H Top: 46W x 46H

If you stitch these on one piece of fabric be sure to leave enough space around them for finishing. Center line marks on the top portion are to help place the bird. The bird is done over one and the enlarged chart is provided.

While surfing another designer’s site I came across some of her’s that had been fabulously finished While going thru the tutorial, as well as the tutorials for other finishing ideas, one became the idea for the Tin Can Pincushions

You can find the tutorial I found here: http://genna-crossstitchandcrochet.blogspot.com/search/label/Tin%20Can%20Pincushion%20Tutorial
Here is the tiny created for this link. I hope I’ve made it easy to remember :) http://tinyurl.com/Tin-Can-Pincushion

I hope this information helps. Thank you :)

Looks like just a regular tin can...the size Tuna or Salmon would come in. Actually- pretty original, and adorable. Think Ill try one!
