Hello,

I have added the pattern information and supplies for this design to the website. You should see it all listed now. But here is the statement that is written on the design:

"I am a small and precious child, my Daddy's been sent to fight, the only place I will see his face, is in my dreams at night. He will be gone too many days for my young mind to keep track. I may be sad, but I am proud, my Daddy's got your back. I am a caring mother, my son has gone to war, My mind is filled with worries that I have never known before, Every day I try to keep my thoughts from turning black, I may be sad, but I am proud, my son has got your back. I am a strong and loving wife, with a husband soon to go, there are times I am terrified, in ways most never know. I bite my lip and force a smile, as I watch my husband pack, My heart may break but I am proud, my husband's got your back. I am a soldier; serving proudly, standing tall. I fight for freedom, yours and mine, by answering this call. I do my job while knowing, the thanks it sometimes lacks. Say a prayer that I come home, its me that's got your back."

I hope this helps :)

Made me cry for all of our military families, past and present.

That is beautiful. Made me cry, because my son is a Sgt. Major in the Marine Corps with 27 years of service. Every time he has been deployed I worry. I use to cry a lot but have gotten over that pretty much.

I've been cross stitching for about 30 years now. When my son joined the Marines I wanted to cross stitch a Marine pattern then, but I never got around to it. Then, My son was killed in Iraq in 2006. I have looked constantly and on every site I came a cross and this is the first pattern that I absolutely fell in love with. It is so beautiful and in a very personal way perfect to me. May you never know my pain but if you do know now "God has your back".
