Bucilla uses its own floss. I don't buy kits just for that reason. If you run out it can be hard to match it. I have bought kits and there was not enough floss to finish the project just like others have said. This is a very pretty crib blanket. If I was doing it the first thing I would do is go to cyberstitchers.com and find the conversion chart for Bucilla to DMC. I would then use my DMC floss to stitch this project, because I know that if I wash the blanket the floss colors won't run. I just don't trust a lot of the different floss makers so I do all my patterns with DMC which I know I can trust. I am sure others can give you their input on this project.
