Well TXS: I've not started the mermaid. Our darling little great niece (on DH side) took all my time (nearly 8 months) to do the afghan and sampler (still working on sampler, have 1 more block left). I then will have to finish the October Topaz Fairy for my sister for her birthday in November. Oh, so much to do and so little time. How about you, what are you working on?

Oh, j, I feel your pain. I am working on "The Library" much more to stitch than I had anticipated.
My birthday is in October, I think I own the October Fairy. Have to check. I want to start on the Celtic girls, any one of them, but Brenda already put in another order for a Hummel. The anniversary pieces are pretty time consuming. She now needs three for Olivia's room. One I did years ago, the second one is at the framer's and the third one is on my desk. I am finishing this Library thing before I start a new one. UFOs get on my nerves. My floss is spread out over three or more projects - you know the story. Bren is working on her mermaid but had to frog the other day - wrong color.
They went somewhere today and she bought Olivia a hermit crab, the girl begs unmercifully, I am babysitting it. You know that I cannot tolerate animals for various reasons. Mostly allergies and the extra work. This thing looks so gross. It requires bottled water and a bath once a week. Hope I don't have to stitch a tiny picture for its container. LOL
Oh, Maggie the Messmaker and my Garden of Delight are waiting to be stitched. If only DH would stitch but hell would freeze over first.
