Yes! Please be prepared! I've lived through two floods and an earthquake. And I lived within sight of a volcano. Don't think it can't happen to you. Better to be prepared than to be sorry.

My grandmother always use to say, "Prepare....better to be safe than sorry."

We're in Myrtle Beach area of South Carolina, got rain last night. It's windy, overcast and cooler than normal. The news says Charleston has already had flooding.....We heard on the news that North Carolina has evacuated some residents off the Outer Banks islands to be safe...

I've also lived through 3 earthquakes (2 in California, one in Ohio), 1 flood (California) and 1 hurricane (Florida) but have been fortunate enough NOT to have been located near any volcanoes.
