Bucilla ross stitch cover for Our Litle Blessing birth record
Does anyone have a cover sheet, which shows the finished project, for this kit? Mine got thrown out at the assisted living facility where I reside, and no one seems to have the replacement cover. I like to have this to refer to as I am stitching, especially the colors. I contacted everyone that sells this kit, and no one can help me. I also need a copy of the alphabet. This was left out of my kit when I received it. It's supposed to be a birth record, so it does me no good without the alphabet!! PROBLEMS!!! I have not cross stitched in years but wanted to take it up again for rehab reasons. But I continue to hit block after block preventing me from enoying it again. The online picture does me no good, nor does the alphabet. I can't trace the alphabet using my Kindle, and cannot make a color copy of the cover sheet!

If anyone has the cover sheet which shows the finished project that you would loan me, or the alphabet for this kit, i would greatly appreciate it. I will return it when I am finished with this project, which could take months. My occupational therapist thinks this will help me define fine motor skills after brain surgeries last year.

Thanks.

I did contact Bucilla and they do not have a replacement coversheet. The alphabet was not in my kit either. I will contact them again and see if I can find out about the alphabet. It should be a part of the kit, right??

It definitely should have been part of your kit. Don't thin that you are the only one that has misplaced instructions or the cover picture. It happens frequently.

Just noticed. That pattern is available from Everything Cross Stitch. ECS cannot give you a replacement. But, that means it is a currently available pattern that Bucilla should be able to help you with. Try Bucilla again.

I have contacted Bucilla and they tell me they don't have replacements!!! Hard for me to believe the manufacturer of these kits don't have replacement covers. The kit also did not have the alphabet included, so what am I supposed to do? I have posted a message asking anyone who has done this project if I can borrow the alphabet and replacement sheet? I will never buy anything from Bucilla again!! They don't need my business.

If you can get to a public library to use their computers and printers, that might be a way to get a printed copy of the cover sheet and alphabet through e-mail from Bucilla...librarians are VERY helpful! And Bucilla should be able to either email your materials or mail copies....Phooey, will copyright issues rear it's multiple ugly heads?

If you can't get a copy of the cover sheet from Bucilla, doing a search online for the "image" of your project might help and you can print that. If nothing else, the library will have hundreds of alphabets in their needlework section.

Good luck and I wish you a speedy recovery! :)

Also, ECS told me this kit is a discontinued kit so they no longer have anything that can help me. Pooh!!!

Yes, Bucilla told me that they would send me the instructions if I would send a postage paid envelope. I have the instructions sheet. Just not the alphabet and cover sheet. I asked them to tell me what to do. Your suggestion m a kes sense. However, i can't drive as the brain injury caused me to have seizures so they took my license.

We posted at the same time...I don't blame you for being frustrated and disgusted by their response. Would an enlargement of the product picture work as a cover sheet? If you go online and download the image, you can have it on your kindle at all times under "downloads". I know because I can on my kindle...lovely little invention!

As for alphabets, there are freebies on lots of websites...or, the library is an option. If you have "kindle unlimited", you might have access to all those lovely cross stitch books.

I hate delays and rehabs seem to make everything harder...Come back, somehow this wonderful group will help shoulder your frustrations. I, myself, am a practicing smartaleck, but "they" are GREAT! :)

Your center should have a list of volunteers if they don't have group transportation. Friends and relatives are usually agreeable to specific outings since it takes the guesswork out of what you're willing/able to do. Churches and senior centers are usually good sources of volunteer lists. :) I don't know how ambulatory or homebound you are, but some library systems still have bookmobiles with lap tops and wireless printers. I hope some of this helps. Access for what we are still capable of doing is soooo important! :)
