NOBODY would ever be able to know that the last 3 pages of your pattern were not done, unless you tell them. But why tell them? Let those who see this give you the "ooohhhs" and "ahhhs" your work deserves!!! When life hands you lemons, make lemonade!!
Beautiful! Where in your home are you going to hang it? Or is it a gift?

MAGNIFICENT

Did you notice that I suggested that another stitcher eliminate a portion of a pattern because she (or he) didn't want a huge finished product?

She is gorgeous ! I am so glad you decided to finish....no one will ever know what's missing...

I noticed your suggestion Nancye on the "Flowers Backyard" about cutting it down by a third at the bottom.
I just sent her the dimensions of the finished chart and size of Aida she would need for 14-count and 16-count AND the size of Aida cloth she would need for both....

Wow, is she ever beautiful...an astounding project with a gorgeous finish! I plan to cut off some of patterns that I will be doing. That way they will fit in standard sized frames and I can avoid the cost of custom framing for a good amount of designs. I truly wish, with the increased costs of everything for our hobby, that designers would go with standard frame sizes. I know we can't reduce the sizes of some patterns, but you and Nancy have inspired me to try with what I can!

Don't thank me for inspiration. You can thank me for the idea. There is now way that I would attempt one of these patterns. I'm sticking to less than 100 x 100 and no close and muted shading. KISS -- Keep it Simple Stitchers!!!!!!

Wow great job! Very beautiful! How big is the project? Hard to tell from the pic exactly how big but it looks huge, don't blame you for cutting off the bottom :D plus there is now way you can tell if you didn't know.

Glenna, I am all over the internet today because I am organizing my stash.

Your project turned out beautifully. Excellent work.

I don't mean to cause trouble, however, I was researching how to work pin stitches and ended up on Scarlet Quince. There are step by step instructions in the solutions section on how to add material when one has run short! :) I don't know if you are interested on doing that. Personally, I would leave it as is. You made a great point about the framing. being so much more affordable when standard size frames can be used.

I misplaced a pattern, I have copies, but not the color key. I took it out and now it could be anywhere. I also misplaced a ring that my daughter gave me. The positive side to all this is that drawers are being organized and "stuff" is being thrown out.

I came across more fabric than ECS carries - just joking - but it's a lot! I also found two WIPs/UFOs. Think I'll finish those.

Again, a beautiful piece. Can't wait to see it framed.
