Poe
It took nine months but I did it, I finished Poe. It is beautiful, and you do not even realize all the hidden items in the picture, you have to really look. So glad I took on the challenge.

Thanks so much, I was stitching pretty much non stop every day because I wanted it done for Halloween and my framer just called and it is ready today to be picked up, so excited.

STUNNING! Wonderful job. I'm assuming you will be getting it framed in the near future! What a wonderful piece of art. You must have "flying" fingers to finish it in nine months.
Mind if I ask on what count fabric you stitched this amazing project on and did you go "over 1" or
"over 2"????

Soooo cool. Congrats!!!! Love all the detail, and I'm sure the picture doesn't do it justice.

i'm looking for pattern books with patterns like that can you point me in the right direction? I inherited my mothers cross stitch suplies and allot of more female orriented patterns i.e flowers christmassy kind of stuff.... I bought a mag that had some ok patterns from hobby lobby and i've done the few that have interested me in it and went back hoping to get another and they still have the same one six months latter. is site seems to only sell single patterns for 15-20 bucks a piece. I am disabled and have found that cross stitching has helped me to focus on something other than the pain. Can somebody please give me some advice

Dowdbeck, The public library is the perfect spot for you. They have a million books on cross stitch. You also will have access to magazines. They will order books from other libraries for you...but since the time is limited to the check out periods and then re-checks, you may have to work around others requesting the same book. :) Some of the books are even digital, which makes them even handier! It's a great way to study a myriad of choices. :)

Bermuda, yes I had it framed. I did it over 1 square in 16 count.

Absolutely amazing - such detail. What is the size of the finished piece? I too can not believe it only took you 9 months.
