aida size
I would like to do this pattern on 14 count aids instead of 18 count. I already have a 15 x 18 piece of navy blue aids. The pattern is 10 inches round but does not say the thread count. My question is will a 15 x 18 piece of aids be big enough.

The project finishes to 10 inches using 18ct. Aida. if you use 14ct. Aida the finished size is 13" x 13". You would need a piece of 14ct. Aida fabric 19 inches by 19 inches. You also would need more floss, because Dimensions kit only has enough floss for a 10 inch round project. Hope this helps.

Look at the description of this design. I Don't Think So! Bet they have a young warrior design out there described as a sleeping boy.

Looks like they double-matted it with circle openings cut. If you like that you'll probably want 2.25" of mat or more, which means more fabric for mounting. I've seen 18" square stock frames & shadowbobex, which would be about right for 14-ct Aida cloth.

Lovely for a boy's nursery.
