The floss that is listed
Is the floss that is needed for "Autumn in the Village" by Stony Creek DMC floss? I don't think it is. If it's not, can I have the DMC numbers so I can check to see what I've already got?

Went to the Stoney Creek website and they list all the DMC floss numbers that you need. They say nothing about using Anchor floss. Don't know where ECS got their list of Anchor floss. Hope this helps. I only use DMC floss when I stitch because of the great quality. If the pattern lists Anchor then all you have to do is go to Cyberstitchers.com and print the chart for changing Anchor floss to DMC. Hope this helps.

I have this pattern.....haven't started it yet......but I just checked it and it has both Anchor and DMC colors listed. I personally only use DMC floss because it's the easiest to find.

I am not sure why Anchor is listed when DMC is listed also, especially since you would have a big price difference, since the Anchor is 69¢ per skein and DMC 49¢ per skein on the ECS site.
So get the conversion chart from cybersttitchers.com and don't forget that there is one Glissen Gloss required.
Have fun! I like these designs a lot!

Hello,

Since I don't have this book in my office currently, I looked up the pattern on 123stitch.com and they have the same exact list we do. It's Anchor floss, Caron Waterlilies, and Rainbow Gallery Thread and it states that the book has the DMC list available so that's why it's listed the way it is. DMC and Anchor are very easily converted. Thank you :)
