Why? What's the point?

I've been on Nexium for about 8 years now and think that it causes brain fog. On the days that I forget to take it I seem to be sharper. Unfortunately, the acid reflux is intolerable. I took it today and have to ask for an explanation. Sorry.

Isn't that much like re-inventing the wheel? I really don't need more confusion in my life.

Texas - have you tried Prilosec? It works wonders for me. And you're so right - I'd love to know why DMC changed color numbers. (Whatever the reason was, it wouldn't be good enough)! Why do companies do that? When I find something I really like, they either discontinue it or change the formula...

Let's all enourage ECS to have a sale on Artecy charts. They're not as complicated as the ones on that other site, but they're just as beautiful, I think. I've written down dozens of numbers I'd like to have. - Val

Hey Everyone,

Thanks so much for your support and lovely comments, we appreciate it. ECS just had a sale on all of our patterns in the whole month of June. They generally put all of our patterns for sale once a year. However they also have weekly special offers on certain topics and our patterns with those topics can be found for sale then too.

VCESS we changed our software over back in 2005. So this message relates to very old patterns made before then. We have been using our current software for the past 10 years. We also do alot of work on images in many different image editing programs before the images are put into the software.

DMC merged these 7 colours together as they are very similar. When designing patterns we check for the discontinued colours and replace them.

Have a great day.

Thanks and Best Wishes

Texas I took prescription Prilosec for years because I had bad acid reflux. When I had to have my gall bladder out several years ago my acid reflux went away. I haven't had to take Prilosec since then. I also lost 50 pounds without dieting and it has stayed off ever since. Don't know why but having my gall bladder out was one of the best things for me health wise. Hope you feel better soon. I remember how bad my acid reflux was.

syagel and val, thanks for the recommendation. I have to do research. I believe that I was on Prilosec before and had no problems then it went OTC (if we are talking about the same thing, I have to keep track of so much) and she prescribed Nexium. My doctor does not respond when I tell him about my vague complaints of upper stomach pain, nausea, etc. I have to stay with him until December because we bought into this MDVIP ... I meant to say program. The physician I saw in San Antonio mentioned gall bladder surgery, it wasn't functioning optimally, but since it was so minor, I decided to keep it a while longer. Strangely enough the pain is on the left! I've been too complacent. Olivia's other grandparents are traveling in August so I won't have much time but after they return I'll get busy. I so dislike seeing new doctors and having to explain everything again.
syagel, losing 50 pounds due to gall bladder surgery sounds great. If I could lose 50 pounds most of my issues would be resolved! Thanks, Ladies.

Treena, Artecy, thank you for the lovely patterns. And where was I in June? Woe is me, I missed it! But you won't get away from me next June!

Syagel - Good on you for losing 50 pounds! I lost a mess of weight last year, and then gained it all back and I'm so upset with myself. But I remember how good it felt and how happy I was to wear my small clothes! Hopefully, I'll get back on track soon. You're an inspiration!

Texas - How come you quit taking Prilosec when it went otc? Was it because the insurance doesn't cover it? It's not cheap, that's for sure. But Costco had the generic, which worked fine for me. My problem was eating too much junk right before bed; once I stopped doing that, I didn't need it anymore. Also, the aforementioned weight loss happened...that was wonderful. And you're right, weight loss does solve a lot of our medical issues. By the way, remember how pain can refer from one part of the body to a distant part...don't assume that because it's on the left that it's not coming from your gallbladder. Just a little friendly nagging...
