Outer Banks NC
A little off topic here but wondering if anyone knows good rental properties in the Outer Banks NC. I am actually planning ahead for the Summer of 2018 when my youngest graduates high school. I have been searching on-line and have found a few good ones. I would prefer something right on the beach or dune area. I have also found a few that are only accessible by 4 wheel drive vehicles, which I would love to do but at this point would have to rent one in order to get to the house! Although my 19 year old who just got her license Saturday is thinking of getting a jeep so who knows! Just wondering if anyone vacations there and knows of any good, clean houses to rent.

I don't know of any actual rental properties there but we recently used a service call VRBO (vacation rentals by owner) and it was a fantastic experience! You just go the website, www.vrbo.com and fill in the place you are wanting to go and dates and such and it gives you lists of rental properties that are open for those dates. Once you find one, you then chat with the actual owner about the property and stuff. We are using one for our family vacation in July and we are going to Orange Beach in Gulf Shores, AL. We have never been and the experience we have had so far with the owner of the property we rented as been awesome. We are very excited to go and stay! Check out the website though :) Good luck!
