Fabric
Good morning everyone:) I bought the fabric for Letters from Nora. It's a 32 count linen. Well, the holes are so tiny I can't see to cross stitch. I'm thinking of buying a 16 count Aida in the same color. I know the fabric won't be the same but I'm hoping to at least see the holes. I understand I can buy a magnifier but I'm not sure I want to go that route. What do you think?

Using a magnifier can be helpful. I, personally, have had challenges when using them. I have found scanning patterns into my computer; converting them to a pdf format; and then enlarging each section as you go along helpful. If you decide to switch from 16ct fabric to 14 ct your finished piece will be larger. You will need more floss, not less.

Switching to 16 count Aida should work with no major issues. The only down-side I can see is if there are 1/4 or 3/4 stitches they are a little more difficult on Aida than linen. The finished size and floss requirements would be the same.
