Confused! When doing back stitch outline on a 1/4 stitch does this make it a 3/4 stitch or does the half stitch have to be the same color as the 1/4 stitch to be a 3/4 stitch?

Hi, Go to "marthabeth.com" and read "How to do partial stitches" article. The paragraph which is the 3-4 paragraph from the bottom of the article talks about "backstitching" when dealing with partial stitches. See if it helps. :)

Eagle, I think the answer to your question is, No, the back stitch that crosses a 1/4 stitch does not have to be the same color...think of coloring-in an outline. If that isn't what you meant, I'm much more confused than you! :)
