Dentist pattern
I have an awesome dentist and would like to do a small project for him but can't seem to find any patterns or kits I like. Doesn't seem to be many to choose from. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I might find some?

Thank you. So nice to see a place to come and talk cross stitch!

Hi Gayle,
I don't know if you tried this yet but I'll throw it to you so you can see a lot of cross stitch dentist images in a short amount of time.
Go to 'google' and type in 'dentist cross stitch patterns";
Then right below where you typed this in, Tap your finger on the word "Images" and it will give you a lot of cross stitch dentists patterns. If you find a picture you like, tap on the picture and look below the picture when it's presented to you in a larger format to find the website where the pattern can be found.
Hope this helps! :)

Thank you Bermuda. I hadn't tried doing the images. Great idea.

Have you had a look on Pininterest? You may find what you are looking for, there are also lots of freebies
Good luck

Hi Gayle -- depends on what you call "small." I have Stoney Creek's collection "A Job Well Done" (Book #227) that has several professions, including DENTIST -- WORKING HARD TO KEEP AMERICA SMILING. Stitch count is 145w x 124h. Are you interested?

Nancye, I Have seen this saying in many offices "You don't have to brush all your teeth, only those you wish to keep", I've never seen it cross stitched but you could graph it yourself. I also have a great dentist and have thought of doing something but never got around to it. Maybe if you Google it?

Texas -- not the one looking for the pattern but I like the idea.

Speaking of dentists, DH has a dentist appointment this afternoon because when he flossed his teeth, a cap came off. The cap was from a former dentist, not the one we presently have. It seems we are getting increased instances of having to go in to get our 'parts' re-installed...

They just don't make designs of torturers and their devices like they used to...maybe something in a nightmare? :)

Ooops, Nancye, sorry. Haste makes waste! :)

Yes, Bermuda, that is exactly how it goes as we age. DH cannot have dental treatment for at least six months after his valve replacement, not even a cleaning. Yuck! I look forward to my cleanings. She also removes the residue of all the bad language I have used. LOL

I have those episodes of 'swearitis' as well. Our dentist appeared surprised that getting my mouth washed out with soap when I was younger didn't give a permanent cure! :)
